Natural Grass Fed Beef - Dry Aged 21 Days

Our cattle are raised and finished on open grass pastures in southwest Missouri. Buy direct from a family owned and operated cattle ranch. Our cattle are black angus, bred for the quality of their beef. We do not process in winter when they are eating dry grass. Our cattle are eating green grass right up to the time of processing and aged 21 days to concentrate the beef flavor and tenderize the beef. When they are eating green grass all the good benefits from grass fed beef are at the highest. Our family is here to provide our customers with the healthest, safest and highest quality beef.

Our beef is processed at small local usda inspected plant just a few miles down the road. Every single carcass is carefully visually inspected and hand carved for high quality. the beef you get from us is of the highest quality. You are what you eat, it is important to know where your food comes from and how it is produced. Cattle were born to eat grass, that is natural. Eating grass fed beef is good for you, so enjoy healthy beef that is full of dry aged flavor and goodness.

We do not use antibiotics, growth hormones, or grains.

Thank you for your interest in our grass fed beef!

Some nice things said by our wonderful customers

WOW! WOW! WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the sirloin was outstanding!
i just hope my expression of sheer joy about your steak won't make the price go up!
of the 7-8 grass fed producers i have purchased steak from in the last eight months yours was the best hands down. most had good hamburger, a few decent to good roasts, ribs, beef bacon, etc., but none had steak with the combination of flavor and tenderness your sirloin did (and sirloin is my favorite steak and the one i judge everyone by). if the next one is even close to as good and the n.y.'s are good too you will have a long term customer and i will refer others to you.
please forgive me but this steak was so tasty i do have to ask what i'm sure is a rhetorical question - is this really 100% grass fed beef per the 'eat wild' site? we are having our interior painted and my computer is not accessible so i don't have your web-site name available to re-read your farming practices and answer the question myself. i know that consciously i only would consider ordering from 100% grass fed producers but yours is so different i just have to read it again!
the only thing i think you can improve is your web site (and so can i for my businesses!) but i'll take a great steak over a better web site any day!!! however, you will sell more beef the better and easier your site is and that would be good for your business so people like me don't lose you as a great producer at a fair price.

i look forward to more product choices soon. what do you do with all the other cuts of beef besides what i saw on your web site? my family loves roasts, beef ribs, and a variety of other cuts. let me know.
and again, wow! it was truly great!

if you ever need a reference feel free to have anyone contact me. it would be a pleasure to share with them how great your steak is. although i have had a successful career as a real estate broker and investor, i have also been a managing partner of a fine dining restaurant just for the pure enjoyment of having food and wine that was exquisite but at a fair price for my family, friends and neighbors in our small resort town. although we sold a few years ago (finding a good day-to-day manager with our small full-time population - most of our homes are vacation properties - was too difficult and we didn't mind just breaking even for great food and fun but losing money was not a long term option) but i remember well the quality of beef we served and yours is it's taste equal or better, but much healthier being grass fed! so i can speak with both passion and legitimate knowledge about steak.

Hello Menefee Family,
I am looking for grass-fed beef, and I found your website/ranch through EatWild. My family is very nearby you- we live on CR 110, and I just placed my first order (looking forward to it). I am wondering if in the future it would be easier to pick up orders from you directly- if this isn't convenient, it's not a big deal, but I thought I would check.
Thanks
Melanie

HI JAMES,

JUST WANTED TO PASS ON OUR SHEER PLEASURE AND ENJOYMENT OF OUR MOST RECENT BEEF ORDER. THE BEEF BACK RIBS, AH... (WORDS JUST CAN'T DO THEM JUSTICE), WERE TO DIE FOR! STEAKS - GREAT AS ALWAYS. FLAVORFUL, MOIST, AND TENDER.
I HAVE PAID $50+++ FOR A MODEST SIZED CUT OF BEEF A LA CARTE AT RUTH'S CHRIS, MORTONS, AND MUCH MORE $$$ AT SMITH AND WOLINSKY'S AND OTHERS, BUT HAVE NEVER HAD BETTER THAN YOURS. IT'S ONLY LIMITATION IS ME AS CHEF. AND BEING PROPERLY RAISED AND FED, THE SUM PACKAGE OF QUALITIES IT HAS FAR OUT-DISTANCES THE OTHERS AT A FRACTION OF THE PRICE.
I JUST WISH MY FATHER WERE AROUND TO COOK IT FOR ME, AND THEN TASTE IT WITH ME AND MY OLDEST SON WHO HAS THE SAME PASSION I DO AND MY FATHER DID. HAVING GROWN UP IN A MID-WEST MEAT AND BUTCHER SHOP OWNED BY HIS GRANDFATHER (ALSO NAMED JAMES, AS IS MY MIDDLE NAME) WHO RAISED HIM, MY DAD LOVED GREAT BEEF. WHEN I WAS A KID HE WOULD SHOP FOR HOURS AT THE MANY SMALL MEAT MARKETS THAT STILL EXISTED THEN IN SOCAL LOOKING FOR GREAT BEEF. WHEN I BECAME AN ADULT I USED TO ORDER BEEF FOR HIM FROM COMPANIES LIKE OMAHA STEAKS THINKING HE WOULD BE PLEASED, ONLY TO BE LOVINGLY TOLD (AND WITH SINCERE APPRECIATION OF MY EFFORT) THAT WAS NOT THE REAL THING TO HIM. FRANKLY, WHILE HE WAS STILL WITH US I NEVER COULD FIGURE OUT WHAT HE COULD SEE, SMELL, OR WHATEVER HE USED TO DETERMINE QUALITY. BUT AFTER HAVING YOUR BEEF FOR SEVERAL MONTHS I IMAGINE IT WOULD BE WHAT YOU HAVE CREATED AND RAISED!
MAN, I MISS MY DAD. YET EVERY TIME I PREPARE YOUR BEEF I GET THINK OF HIM AGAIN. OF COURSE THERE WERE MANY OTHER WONDERFUL THINGS HE DID FOR HIS FAMILY. BUT ALMOST EVERY SATURDAY AND SUNDAY, IT WAS DAD ON THE GRILL. HE WAS LEGENDARY AMONG MY EXTENDED FAMILY AND ALL FOUR OF HIS KIDS' FRIENDS. TO THIS DAY HIS WEEKEND COOKOUTS ARE STILL BROUGHT UP BY MY OLD FRIENDS. ISN'T IT IRONIC THE EVERY DAY OCCURANCES THAT STAND OUT, AND WE SAVOR OVER TIME. A BASIC BUT GREAT MEAL WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS WE CHERISH, WITH A BOTTLE OF GOOD BEER OR A GLASS OF DECENT WINE. TALKING OLD TIMES, GOOD TIMES, TOUGH TIMES, FUNNY TIMES. THEY WERE SIMPLE TIMES, AND THEY WERE THE BEST OF TIMES.
THANKS FOR ALL YOU AND YOUR FAMILY DO FOR PEOPLE LIKE ME.
